Caught Vin’s latest at the premiere the other night, held at Grauman’s Chinese Theater which they call something else now that’ll never stick.  Helluva movie.  My favorite over-the-top moment came when The Rock, needing to rid himself of a full-arm plaster cast to get back into the action, simply flexes his arm muscles to break out of the plaster cast.  At least they set it up by having him watching re-runs of THE HULK on TV.

After party was at the Roosevelt Hotel, another storied Hollywood venue.  Nice night.

Just caught the movie myself – a fitting send off for Paul Walker.

    Great movie!

I’m glad that you enjoyed the movie (might the Blu-Ray version myself when it’s released, since there’s no movie theater near me)

    Dear David,

Maybe for the 3th or 4th times during the years, today I was still looking at TV Pitch Black, Chronicles of Riddik and Riddick .
I really appreciate a lot your direction, the montage, the cuts, the light (director of the photography), the fantasy of the dress, the strange earth of the planets (setting) and the make up. Bravo for all the troupe !!!!
Though the critic was not very nice for Vin, I assure you that he was fantastic and perfect in all the roles.
I would have loved to make films like those…
    Ciao !
